DBEdit

DBEdit was a general-purpose NEXTSTEP application that allowed users to access and explore databases. DBEdit supported access to any server database for which there was a Database Kit adaptor, including Interbase, SYBASE SQL Server, ORACLE, and SQLBase. DBEdit supported simultaneous multiple database connections to one or more databases servers.

DBEdit was designed to be independent of the database server, allowing it to be used as a database development and administration tool in any Database Kit-based database project. DBEdit was suitable for use by leading-edge database designers and database administrators who needed an easy way of accessing databases without learning specific syntaxes for SQL dialects or command options for the many varied command line-based vendor-specific database tools.

DBEdit was rich with features that provide easy location and display of data along with simple but powerful importing, exporting, and graphing capabilities.
