SRTransport
SRTransport was a data interface engine that transports data files to SYBASE SQL Server tables and views. SRTransport provided flexible control over translation and validation of the data. One source data file was transported to many destination tables. Multiple source files were transported to a single destination table. A 4GL language provided the basis for customizing the flow and processing of data.
Implemented with a powerful graphical user interface, SRTransport utilizes transaction control, record archiving and data validations for reliability. SRTransport offered schedule control of transfers and retries. The SRTransport file description tool showed the parsed interpretation of the data in a separate window as you describe the columnar structure of the file with field lengths and terminators.
SRTransport records the source and destination of all transfers of data, essentially tracing the flow of data throughout your enterprise. With SRTransport, you knew where your data was, where it had been duplicated and how it has been used.
