BusRules Server
BusRules Server was a networkwide server used to validate business transaction data. The data could be provided directly or resident in an external database server accessible through the Database Kit. This produce was of great value to any company that was building database or work-flow applications. It provides a centralized solution to the very common problem of data entry validation. With the BusRules Server, a number of different client applications could apply common sets of business rules to data entry and work flow. When the business rules change, usually the client applications will not need to be modified.
The BusRules Server was fully integrated with other We Design and 11ASC products. A client application programming interface was provided through Distributed Objects. The BusRules Server can be run on any hardware platform that supported the full NEXTSTEP system or Portable Distributed Objects. Training and consulting services, including the development of custom client applications, are available.
