CLINIBASE 2000 was a computer-based medical charring system. Designed for clinicians, it improved the quality by which medical information was gathered, communicated and stored.

Modules included: Central Patient Index, Admission Discharge Transfer, Outpatient Registration, Scheduling, Chart Management, Workload Measurement, Case Management, Task Management, Patient Profile, Care Plan, Medical Orders, Requests & Results, Progress Notes, Medical Record Consultation, Knowledge Base and Business Rules Repositories.

CLINIBASE 2000 featured: an open architecture, the industry acclaimed NeXTStep object-oriented development environment on the Intel 486 platform, ORACLE for its clinical data repository, sophisticated programming tools on NeXTStep to reduce development time and costs, a user-friendly graphical interface with maximum use of windowing tools on Intel 486 technology and concordance with industry standards, such as HL7.
