InfoBrowser
InfoBrowser was an extensible hierarchy-based information tool that could be customized to suit needs as different as reading and classifying news, sending and receiving electronic mail, managing personal information, communicating within a group, maintaining a calendar, and more.
InfoBrowser was developed by Cubiculum Systems, a subsidiary of ABComputers. The core of InfoBrowser was an information server that controls and processes both incoming information and requests from clients. An application programming interface supported custom front-end programs chat access a common information base. Front-ends could look like a common single-function application, such as an e-mail reader, or could allow powerful associative access to all allowed information. In its first release, InfoBrowser will be available only in custom versions, tailored to specific needs of a client.
