Questor
Questor was a powerful and easy-to-use matrix-based spreadsheet for NEXTSTEP that includes a rich scripting language called OScripi, full-page report layouts, seamless SQL database access using Database Kit, and a double-directed application programming interface for external application control.
On the worksheet, you could place graphics, images, and sound annotations as well as graphs of all popular types, including bar, stacked bar, line, combination, stock, area, stacked area, scatter (xyplot), and pie.
Questor supported multilevel undo of all commands, Object Links, and the ability to read and write Lotus 1-2-3 and Excel files.
QScript was an extended version of Xanthus Common Language (XCL), a uniform scripting language used in all Xanthus software products with scripting capabilities. XCL gives you a uniform scripting syntax and a common set of basic functions. In addition, XCL allows you to write external functions in XCL or in Objective-C that could be used by any XCL-based application from Xanthus.
