SoundHouse
SoundHouse 2,0 was the inexpensive sound recorder for NeXTStep computers. SoundHouse lets you quickly input sound into your NeXTStep computer via the internal microphone. SoundHouse 2,0 additions included: format conversion, time/frequency shift, mixing in sound pasteboards, sound envelopes and equalization. Users could play back mono and stereo compressed and decompressed sound files. Advanced capabilities included: cut, copy, paste, reverse and invert and crop of digital audio, ability to view sound in a sound view, sound meter, playback time, sound overview, ability to compress and decompress sounds and easy zooming controls. Users could play, repeat play, pause. Slop and record playback.
Many user preferences allowed you to customize SoundHouse to your needs. Users could change the grayscale colors of backgrounds and foregrounds for the sound view, overview sound view, and sound play meter. A hardcopy and on-line manual were included to help you get the most out of SoundHouse.
