Writing Library
The Writing Library was one of several applications developed at Allegheny College for use on a network of NeXT computers. The Writing Library was a collection of writing related problems and solutions which resides on the network. Students could enter problems or the solutions to problems entered by other students.
Interpersonal computing meant sharing information quickly and simply. All NeXT computers came with built-in Ethernet hardware. NeXT network applications like NetInfoManager made managing a network simple. And NeXT applications like NeXTmail, e-mail that integrated text, graphics, and sound, make sharing information across a network quick and intuitive.
