TheFormatter for Wren was a highly useful tool to install and optimize the Wren hard disk drives of Seagate Technology, Inc. in your NeXTStep computer. TheFormatter was designed to give you access to all the advanced features of these reasonably priced, high-performance drives.
It allowed the user to set all the relevant drive characteristics - such as cache control, defective sector rcallocation parameters and sector size - from an easy-to-use NeXTStep user interface.
