FileMaster

FileMaster was a self-sufficient, free-format database system and a powerful form-editing tool for NEXTSTEP. Ideal as a complement to client/server database applications, it allowed you build databases and entry forms in seconds. Simultaneous queries and database updates from several users were supported without an expensive SQL server. FileMaster features:

- Flexible database structure that allowed for changes at any time
- Network capabilities supporting multiple-user access
- Simple, intuitive yet powerful queries thai could be initiated from other applications
